Freddie Mac just released data this past week showing that the interest rate for a 30 year mortgage is at a historically low 3.88%. Even though housing inventories are low due to the time of year, there are still great deals to be made. Look for bank properties that have been sitting for a while or short sales that need work. Try to buy the home that other buyer will shy away from due to cosmetic issues.
